Becky Villareal, a retired teacher of twenty-three years, loves history and mysteries. That is what drew her to family history research that she incorporates into her children's book series, Gianna the Great, and young adult book The Broken Branches. She loves watching her grandchildren and writing when she has the time and continues her family research for her own family and others. Becky Villareal has presented at national organizations and libraries throughout the United States, incorporating her knowledge of children, writing, and family history research. Her goal is to share her excitement of writing and researching with students all over the country.  

Amy Shannon is an American Storyteller, living in upstate New York, where she grew up. She shares the stories in her head by putting them on paper (virtual or real), and most of her stories focus on the strength of women.

Amy Shannon runs the book review website "Amy's Bookshelf Reviews," which has become extremely popular for Indie authors and their books. She runs her own “writer blog.”

In 2004, Amy was a cancer survivor. In 2005, she survived a domestic violence assault, which resulted in her spouse going to prison, and lifelong migraine headaches.

Amy has four sons, who are very supportive of their family, and her passion. Amy went back to school in 2011, and since then has received her bachelor’s in English, master’s in Adult Education, and master’s in business administration.

Amy Shannon is also the co-host of the podcast “The After Show with McKensie Stewart & Amy Shannon,” which can be heard on Blog Talk Radio, iHeartRadio, amazon music, iTunes, Stitcher, and Tune-In.

Amy Shannon suffers from chronic daily migraines from her domestic violence assault. In the past two years, she had developed neurological movement disorders that include tremors that affect her hands and torso, leg spasms and muscle jerks, which affect her gait, sleep, and ability to be steady on her feet. She was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which provides her joints with constant pain. She still does work for authors, such as writing reviews, but also editing and other document services.

My memoir was published by The History Press (UK). I have self-published four novels: Raw Nerve, Delphian - (both thrillers), The Drama Merchant - (a drama) and A Seed Once Sown (focused on animal rights). I have two novels completed for a SciFi series and a novela that is autobiographical and I'm just completing another thriller.

Apple An grew up during China’s Cultural Revolution and came to the US in her 20s. She writes short stories and books about her life and those of people she knows. Her goal is to enrich Asian American cultural heritage and history, to enhance cultural understanding and acceptance among all people. 

Mark Allen was born and raised in small - town Texas in the 60s and 70s. He wrote his first short story for a 4th grade English assignment. He got an A+ on the assignment, and he's been writing ever since. In 1980, he graduated High School and joined the U.S. Navy. He served as a Navy Hospital Corpsman, and was designated a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Warfare Specialist. He retired in May 2001.


Mark returned to his first love, writing, this time writing screenplays for feature films. He wrote and directed DELIRIUM (York Entertainment 2007) and wrote and co-produced EARLY GRAVE (Fenix Pictures 2013). He is currently an executive Producer on A GOOD GIRL'S GUIDE TO MURDER, which shoots in July, 2023.


In 2014, Mark was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer. During radiation and chemo, he began writing what would become his debut novel, NOCTURNAL, to rave reviews. Mark is now 9 years in recovery and suffers long-term disabilities related to the cancer and the treatments that killed his cancer. Grateful just to be alive, Mark pushes on. He published his second novel, BLOOD RED MOON, in September 2021 to critical acclaim and strong sales. His third novel, JUST BEFORE DAWN, a sequel to NOCTURNAL, drops in September 2023.


Mark is a proud member of the Horror Writers Association. He is represented in Hollywood by Judy Fox Personal Talent Management for his film and TV screenplays. He lives quietly with his wife in a small town on the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest where he divides his time between novels and screenplays.

Liz started writing as a teenager and has always stayed an avid reader. With inspiration from influential writers of horror fiction like Stephen King, Anne Rice, Ray Bradbury and many more. She has improved her writing style and found her niche in storytelling and entertaining.

She was first published on "Thought Catalog/Creepy Catalog" in 2016 and "The Mighty" in 2017. Getting her publishing debut with Hellbound Books Publishing in Anthology books "Demons, Devils & Denizens of Hell" and "The Big Book of Bootleg Horror 2" in 2018. Finally self publishing "Infected" in 2020 and now "Monsters Among Us" in 2021.

Born and raised in the Midwest. A nurse, mother to three boys, and a rescue pit bull "Luna-Monster". She always had a fascination with the unseen and things that can play with your mind and terrify you beyond the reach of your five senses.

William Michael Ried was born on Long Island, graduated from the University of Michigan and Georgetown University Law Center and practices law in New York City. His first novel Five Ferries was a finalist in the 2019 American Fiction Awards for Best New Fiction. In 2021 his second novel Backstory won the New York City Big Book Award for Mystery and a Silver Medal from the Wishing Shelf Book Awards for Adult Fiction, was a semi-finalist for the Kindle Book Award for Literary Fiction, and was named a 2022 Eric Hoffer Award Category Finalist. His third novel Pandion was named a 2022 Distinguished Favorite Mystery by the NYC Big Book Awards and a Red Ribbon Winner of the 2022 Wishing Shelf Awards, made the 2023 Eric Hoffer Award Grand Prize Short List and was awarded Honorable Mention in the category of Mystery/Crime in the 2023 Eric Hoffer Awards. He lives with his wife in Manhattan.
