LK Lawrence is a Southern California author who wants to dispel the myth that only pretty young girls get the guys. She strives to show that the average woman can still experience romance with humor and imagination.

was born in Bury, raised in Whitley Bay, and have lived in Lancashire since I was thirteen. Currently living in Preston, I served for over thirty-one years with the Lancashire Constabulary, the Regional Crime Squad and the National Crime Squad.

I retired in the rank of detective inspector in charge of a covert unit, which received local and national acclaim for its successes in engaging those who openly sold Class A drugs, such as heroin and crack cocaine.

Prior to this I led the C.I.D. in Preston for a short while and before that I was in charge of a dedicated informant unit. Previous experiences include work on many murder investigations and other serious crimes, as well as time spent on drug squads.

I have served around the region, country, and overseas. My work on the National Crime Squad took me across Europe and to the Far East. I have been commended on four occasions.

I now write fiction based in-part on my experiences, and in-part from my fevered imagination.

S.D. Michaels was born in Denver, Colorado to a Registered Nurse and a Truck Mechanic. In 1977 Michaels moved to the Great Northwest to study Marine Biology Technology and instantly fell in love with the beautiful and tranquil waters of Puget Sound. Labeling himself an environmental enthusiast he has started a battle to help children learn about the world around them. He is the author of a six novelette series called People of Miranda Records but is best known for his World of Valencia novelettes where he uses a make-believe world to talk about our real-world problems, such as pollution, and animal extinction. Since spring 2017 Michaels' books Emily and the Gnomes and Return of the Beastmaster have been placed in many schools in the Greater Seattle area as learning tools for Upper Elementary and Middle schools, teaching environmental stewardship to the students.

Now retired I have been living and working in the Cambridgeshire Fens for most of my life. Blacksmithing and wrought ironwork started as a hobby and became my profession, I have been involved in engineering in various forms all my working life.

Making things for the garden was an outlet for my artistic creativity, helping others, garden designers and gardeners realise theirs. I am conscious that what I create, although satisfying to me, will only be complete as an object when it is in place, within its final setting.

Since retiring I have joined my local University of the Third Age branch (U3A). One of the groups I belong to is Whittlesey Wordsmiths, a creative writing group. Together as a group, we have published five anthologies of our work, Where the Wild Winds Blow, A Following Wind, Jingle Bells and Tinsel Tales, Windy Christmas and Three Sheets to the Wind. I have written one novel so far, Killing Time in Cambridge.

Miss the world-famous detective and The Woman at your peril when they get together. Its murder!

I was born in 1956, in Kirkwall, on the Scottish Island of Orkney. I wrote my first autobiography at the age of 58, then another three books followed. Writing is a relaxing hobby which I enjoy, and I wish that I had found it when I was younger. Four happy children and nine grandchildren leave me little time to write now, but it is worth every minute.

Daniel Kemp is a seventy-four-year-old member of The Society of Authors. He is also a bestselling writer. He writes stories that appeal to those who like challenging themselves to solve mysteries that are set out before their eyes.

His introduction to the world of espionage and mystery happened at an early age when his father was employed by the War Office in Whitehall, London, at the end of WWII. However, it wasn’t until after his father died that he showed any interest in anything other than himself!

On leaving academia he took on many roles in his working life: a London police officer, mini-cab business owner, pub tenant and licensed London taxi driver, but never did he plan to become a writer. Nevertheless, after a road traffic incident left him suffering from PTSD and effectively—out of paid work for four years, he wrote and self-published his first novel —The Desolate Garden.

Within three months of publication, that book was under a paid option to become a $30 million film. The option lasted for six years until distribution became an insurmountable problem for the production company.

All ten of his novels are now published by Next Chapter Publishing Company which has added an edition titled The Heirs And Descendants Collection, which holds all four books of that series, alongside an edition titled The Lies And Consequences Collection which contains all four volumes of that series.

He is the recipient of rave reviews from a prestigious Manhattan publication and described as—the new Graham Green—by a highly placed executive of Waterstones Books, for whom he did a countrywide tour of book signing events. He has also appeared on 'live' television in the UK publicising his first novel.

He likes to write quotes and it's on Goodreads where you can find them--- https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/list/72612151 An example of these quotes opens his novel--Once I Was A Soldier:--There is no morality to be found in evil. But to recognise that which is truly evil one must forget the rules of morality.
