Alex's first novel 'Sleeping with the Blackbirds', a darkly humorous urban fantasy, written for children and young adults, was initially published by PenPress in 2011. It was longlisted by the Millennium Book Awards 2018 and selected by the Indie Author Project in 2019 for distribution to public libraries across the US and Canada. In 2014, his fictionalised account of the first British serviceman to be executed for cowardice during the First World War was published by Mardibooks in its anthology, 'The Clock Struck War'. In 2019, his psychological thriller, 'The Chair Man', which is set in London in 2005 following the terrorist attack on its public transport system, was published by Fizgig Press in 2020, and was a Finalist in the 2021 Wishing Shelf Book Awards. During the Covid epidemic, Alex conducted 100 author interviews online in an attempt to delve into the backgrounds, motivations and working methods of authors across the globe. These interviews were published in 2022 under the title '100 Ways to Write a Book', and all author proceeds are being donated to PEN International. His most recent novel, 'A Brand to Die For' is a comic murder mystery set in the London advertising world of 1983. It is, in fact, the first murder mystery set in a London advertising agency since Dorothy L. Sayers penned 'Murder Must Advertise' back in 1933.

Alex lives in NW London with his wife and two children who are far smarter than their old man.

Les Pruitt a new author, he is a retired military veteran, and graduate of Campbell University. He first embraced writing poetry in 2008 which reflected humanity’s struggles, love and hope. As an undergraduate of history and a Christian, he embraced a quest for truths versus common social dogma. The author’s entire life has been one preparing him to write this extra ordinary historical fiction, an understatement, that is interwoven with some well documented facts.

Cecile Garcia attended Santa Ana College in Orange County. During the 1990’s she wrote her first book and published it in the early 2000’s. Her life's goal was to become a published author and she has fulfilled her dream. She continues writing for those who enjoy reading her books. She is proud to be an Independent author. . 

Leslie Musoko is the author of the Divinity Dawns Trilogy and an award winning Ezine Author Expert with over three hundred articles published worldwide on Self- Improvement and Relationships. His television debut came in 2007 as a speaker/panelist on CSPAN television in New York on the show ‘writing from an international perspective’. However before fulfilling his dream of becoming a writer he simultaneously attained success in the Telecommunications Industry over a 17 year career span rising to the position of Head of Optics for Thrupoint in Saudi Arabia in 2007. Prior to this he held various senior positions, Product Manager, Huawei, UK and Consulting Systems Engineer, Cisco Systems in Dallas just to name a few. He was awarded the Nortel Prize award in 1999 for excellent project delivery and holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MSc (Diploma) in Computing for Commerce and Industry.

His latest exploits include guest speaker to “Due diligence building investment ties between the US and Cameroon” and the build up to “Show Case Africa “- US/Africa International Economic Development Summit.

Paul Barthel, a native of Chicago, grew up in Illinois and Wyoming. A Chef entrepreneur and restaurant owner who worked behind the scenes in kitchens for over thirty years in both large venues and small restaurants. A dedicated Animal Rights advocate who pushed to establish an Illinois law recognizing pets in domestic law. He is the founder of the animal rights organization, Animal Humane Advocacy and currently pursuing Michigan, Iowa, and Ohio further establish identical laws in addition to puppy mill legislation, and furthered anti-cruelty measures. Barthel is also a strong opponent and activist against the Yulin Dog Festival. He currently volunteers for a variety of welfare organizations. Residing in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, I am thrilled to announce that three books have recently been released and are the Sci-Fi thriller We, R Vol.3 and Para-Supernatural character novellas from the Swanson series (Mahlistaff and Ainsley). I began writing in 2014 and published my first novel Stanley Swanson - Breed of a Werewolf in 2015. I've co-authored two horror novels and won 3rd place for the book Unfleshed in the same year. In 2016, I took part in an anthology with all proceeds donated to a charity that the primary author chose. Since then I am continuing in writing my eighth character novella of the Bloodline series along with the final installment of the 'Swanson' series. In 2019 I was offered an opportunity to host a few shows on cecil.tv which focused on local artists, writers, musicians and other talents that surrounded the local area. Since then, I am simply enjoying life to the best of my ability while working as a Guest Relations Manager for a fantastic vacation rental company Forever Vacation Rentals here on the emerald coast of Florida. 

David Berger was the boy under the blanket reading books by flashlight when he should have been sleeping, and he hasn’t stopped reading since. His creative fires started by reading Greek mythology, the stories of Olympian gods and heroes sparking a conflagration of learning that took him through novels—sci-fi, fantasy, or whatever he could find—and that, coupled with his love of comic books, especially Wonder Woman, brought him to writing. The act of putting pen to paper gave him an outlet he had never had, and the inspiration of the Muses pushed him forward. His love of fantasy prompted writing a Greek myth fantasy series, Task Force: Gaea, a Celtic fantasy trilogy beginning with The Quest of Wyndracer and Fyrehunter, as well as an anthology of his own short fiction and poetry, Hippocrene’s Promise. When he’s not teaching or writing, he’s living his best fantasy life playing Dungeons & Dragons.

Short Biography of Manfred
Manfred is the author name for a Melbourne born writer who now lives in Copenhagen Denmark. Manfred has been writing for many years and Magic Mirabelle and the Riddle of Night Opium is his first novel in the YA Fantasy and Paranormal Romance genre. Manfred also has a degree in English literature and Philosophy from Copenhagen University and his main interests besides writing and Gold-Making are watching films, travelling to exotic places like India, reading Fairytales and Romances, playing the guitar and the piano and taking his pet dog Shimba for walks with his son Tristan by the beach or in the forest. His main writing influences are the Scottish Father of Fairytales George Macdonald, the Golden Dawn Occultist Dion Fortune, the Romantic Poet William Blake and all those amazing fantasy writers like James Barrie, C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowlings. Manfred's favourite foods are pizza, lasagne, vegetable pies and spicy Indian food. He also has an addiction to drinking hot chocolate and eating very rich and yummy cheese cakes!

About the book Magic Mirabelle and the Riddle of NightOpium.

If you like Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and the Narnia and Harry Potter books, you are going to just love Magic Mirabelle and the Riddle of Night Opium. It all begins in East Finchley, London with Mirabelle making an innocent wish, with her mother and baby brother, and then discovering a Magic Box with a very mysterious riddle in it.

After Mirabelle receives the riddle, and tries to solve it, she is plunged into a strange and terrifying world of alchemy, sorcery and Shape Shifting enchantment.
