Steve Gray
Author
Steve Gray has worn many creative hats—artist, picture-framer, teacher, and now, writer—but at the heart of each role lies a single passion: to spark change through inspiration. A retired educator from Geelong, Australia, Steve now channels his rich life experience into storytelling that champions the courage of everyday heroes—individuals who dare to make a difference in a complicated world.
His fiction delves into the lives of characters who are bold, curious, and flawed, yet driven by purpose—offering readers a resonant mix of hope and realism. As Steve puts it, "Stories don’t need to grab you in the first line—but they should move you before the last."
Beyond fiction, Steve is also the author of two insightful nonfiction works: one that breaks down goal setting into actionable momentum, and another that unpacks the building blocks of sustainable business development. Whether in novels or guides, his writing remains grounded in one belief: the power of ideas to shift lives.
When he's not writing, Steve can be found exploring the vibrant arts scene in Melbourne, being creative, or simply enjoying the rhythm of life in Geelong.

Jean Brannon
Author
Acupuncturist and author Jean Brannon weaves ancient wisdom and metaphysical concepts into self-help strategies to uplift and empower readers. Drawing upon the long history of acupuncturists serving as "barefoot doctors" to foster community health and well being, Jean shares easy and effective holistic health tips and techniques in her latest nonfiction books. Her ancient world romantasy novels also contain Taoist philosophy and New Thought concepts (such as Law of Attraction) woven into stories consciously created to help people live their best lives.
Jean first began to dream of being a writer when she was eleven, not long after her cautious and careful mother died. That's when Jean's loving dad stepped up in ways he never imagined in order to raise two daughters on his own. Jean learned from her father that being willing to try new things - and being willing to laugh if it all went sideways - were crucial to the life of adventure her mother had always craved but never let herself live. Jean decided she would learn to live boldly instead of moving safely toward death every day.
And so, the "give it a whirl" attitude she developed toward life led her from a West Virginia country home to a New York corporate career, where mastering Belt Parkway lane changes taught her she really could do anything. That spirit of adventure, along with a love of ancient ways, has inspired her to study acupuncture, rehab old homes, and collect vintage typewriters. She's writing both her next wellness book and latest ancient world romantasy novel on her grandmother's 1930 Smith Corona.

Dr. DARREN CORY SKINNER
Author
Dr. Darren C. Skinner:
A 9/11 victim and long-term survivor of its hidden aftermath, Dr. Darren C. Skinner, also a U.S. Army Veteran, embodies a journey marked by profound pain, spiritual reckoning, and ultimate redemption. Although not inside the World Trade Center, Dr. Skinner was working nearby and remained in the affected area through December 2001—unknowingly exposed to the toxic dust and fumes that blanketed Lower Manhattan. Over time, he developed multiple 9/11-related medical conditions, both physical and emotional, which drastically altered the course of his life.
The trauma of that period led Dr. Skinner down a dark path—returning to alcohol and developing a dependency on prescribed opioid pain medications. What followed was a downward spiral of addiction, emotional turmoil, and deep despair. But his story does not end in tragedy—it transforms. Through faith, spiritual growth, and a fierce commitment to healing, Dr. Skinner rose from the ashes. His hard-won sobriety and recovery have become a foundation for hope, strength, and purpose. Writing poetry also became a deeply personal form of therapy—a way to process pain, reclaim identity, and find clarity amidst chaos. It was through this creative outlet that he began to truly heal. Today, he stands as a living testament to the human spirit’s ability to overcome, to evolve, and to inspire. Dr. Skinner’s writing reflects this personal evolution. With raw honesty and heartfelt wisdom, he explores themes of suffering, resilience, and the search for serenity. This book is more than stories—it’s a lifeline for those navigating trauma, addiction, and the long road to recovery.
Dr. Skinner currently works for Footprints to Recovery in Hamilton, NJ where he works with Military and First responders seeking recovery.
