Born in Ukraine and going to school there, Lara Gelya went on for the next 20 years to the Kyzylkum Desert of the Republic of Uzbekistan, working at geological sites and expeditions of the Mining Industry. At that time Ukraine and Uzbekistan were parts of one country—the Soviet Union.

Lonnie Busch is an award-winning author whose short fiction has appeared in Southwest Review, The Minnesota Review, The Baltimore Review and other magazines. Among his awards for fiction are the Clay Reynolds Novella Prize for his novella, TURNBACK CREEK, finalist in the Tobias Wolff Award for Fiction, the Glimmer Train Very Short Fiction Award, and others. Busch is the author of several novels, ASSIMILATION, THE ANYTHING ROOM, CARGO HOLD 4, PROJECT ÜBERMENSCH, ALL HOPE OF BECOMING HUMAN, THE CABIN ON SOUDER HILL and THE BALDWIN HOTEL,

Busch is also a painter, animator and illustrator, and has created artwork for numerous corporations, ad agencies and institutions, including the “Greetings from America” and “Wonders of America” Commemorative Stamps for the USPS.

Pat Henshaw, born and raised in Nebraska, has lived on the US’s three coasts, in Texas, Virginia, and now California. Before she retired, she held a number of jobs, including theatrical costumer, newspaper features reporter and movie reviewer, librarian, junior college English instructor, and publicist. She also loves to travel and has visited Canada, Mexico, Europe, Egypt, and Central America as well as almost all fifty US states.

Now retired, she enjoys reading and writing as well as visiting her older daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren on the East Coast and playing havoc with her younger daughter’s life in NorCal. She thanks you for reading her books and wants you to remember that every day is a good day for romance.

I am Johanna. I was born in the UK in the lovely sea-side town of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

We moved to South West France in 1999 just after getting married to start a new life away from the rat-race, stress and materialism of the South East of the UK.

We now live in the South of France which we adore.

I am recently retired and decided it was time to go back to my book which I completed in 2020, following a course in creative writing and to relaunch my book

I am an avid reader, mainly fiction, biographies, historical fiction and Asian historical fiction.

I love to travel and have visited many parts of the world, with my main love being Asia and China

As a first-time author, my writing journey has been an exciting adventure filled with personal growth and creativity. Each character and storyline was crafted with love, drawing deeply from my experiences with family, nature, and the simple joy of storytelling. I believe in the power of stories to bring people together. Through my writing, I hope to inspire readers to embrace life's simple joys—whether it is a family gathering, a hike through the woods, or a shared laugh with loved ones. As a lifelong animal lover, my pets are more than just companions; they are cherished family members. Their love and loyalty inspire many of my stories. My family's shared love for the outdoors also fuels the themes of adventure and discovery that are woven into my writing. Parenthood has taught me invaluable lessons about love, patience, and resilience—all of which I explore through my characters and stories. At the heart of my writing often lies the special bond between pets and their families, reflecting the warmth and joy these connections bring to life.

 am an author and have published over 15 books most of them eBook's. Most of the books are non-fiction based in History. I am currently working for CHARUSAT University as a content writer. I have previously worked for 16 years as a journalist and over 11 years as a freelance content writer.
