Judith Ratcliffe is a Privacy Professional, Speaker and Author, who shares her wealth of experience and knowledge in the fields of Privacy and Financial Crime Prevention with the General Public, as well as both New and Seasoned Practioners, Academics, Judges, Journalists and Politicians in three non-fiction books, which give practical and down to earth solutions for real-world problems, as well as highlighting core issues and things that (in her view) need to change to protect your Privacy (and other Human Rights) better, reduce costs and protect the environment (amongst other things). She writes in everyday language and advocates for plain-English in all things, including UK legislation (where she notes this is often lacking). Her missions include debunking compliance myths, integrating practical Privacy Compliance into every organisation’s every day activities and making the Law understandable for non-lawyers.

Judith Ratcliffe also writes poetry, children's stories and authored a chapter in Voices of Women.

She has written articles on a wide range of subjects from legal matters to entertainment news, for a linkedin blog, local newspapers, the Law Society of Scotland Journal, the Expert Witness Institute Newsletter, law firm websites, students' union magazines and hospital radio websites and magazines. For a number of those articles, she also produced accompanying photographs.

She has also authored an investigative report on AI Road Safety Cameras.
