As an attorney and civil justice advocate, author Mark M. Bello draws upon over 45 years of courtroom experience in his Zachary Blake Legal Thriller Series, Harbor Springs Cozy Mysteries, and social justice/safety children's picture books.

A Michigan native, Mark received his B.A. in English Literature from Oakland University and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. After working extremely high-profile legal cases, Mark wanted to give the public a front-row glimpse of what victims face when standing up for justice.

Alicia Hurtt has a rich background and heritage that has played a significant role in shaping her into the woman she is today. Her Trinidadian and Barbadian roots have instilled in her a deep appreciation for family, community, and faith.

Growing up in Landover, Maryland, Alicia was surrounded by a close-knit family who instilled in her the values of hard work, determination, and perseverance. Her parents, both immigrants from Trinidad & Tobago, taught her the importance of education and encouraged her to pursue her dreams with passion and dedication.

As a young woman, Alicia faced many challenges, including navigating her identity as a Black woman in America and overcoming the obstacles that come with being a first-generation college student. But through it all, she remained committed to her goals and never lost sight of her vision for the future.

Today, Alicia is a successful businesswoman, mother, and community leader who is passionate about helping others achieve their dreams. She draws on her rich background and experiences to provide her clients with exceptional service and guidance as they navigate the complex world of real estate.

However, there is another aspect to Alicia's life that has been a true test of faith and perseverance: her journey to become a mother. Alicia's desire to have a child started early in her adulthood, and she thought that it would be a straightforward process. However, after several years of trying, Alicia and her husband realized that it wasn't going to be as easy as they had hoped.

Alicia's journey to motherhood was filled with highs and lows. She tried various methods to conceive, both natural and with the help of medical professionals. There were moments of excitement when she thought she was pregnant, only to be followed by disappointment and heartbreak when the test results were negative.

Despite the challenges, Alicia remained steadfast in her faith and determination to become a mother. She leaned on her relationship with God and found solace in the support of her loved ones. Alicia also did a lot of self-reflection during this time, examining her own fears and doubts about motherhood.

Finally, after years of trying, Alicia was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. The journey to motherhood wasn't easy, but it taught Alicia many valuable lessons about patience, faith, and resilience.

Now, Alicia is sharing her story with others through her book, which offers a candid look into the emotional rollercoaster of trying to conceive a child. Her hope is that her story will provide comfort and inspiration to other women who are on a similar journey. Alicia believes that with faith, determination, and a strong support system, anything is possible.

Hello,

My name is Nathan Lamberson. I am 34 years old. I was born with a birth defect called Spina Bifida which requires me to use a wheelchair for daily mobility. I JUST published my first novella earlier today (8-19-23) "Coming Home to Terror" and I can't be more proud. I have always written things but I never wrote anything that was seen by anyone else's eyes. I used writing as a creative outlet for my negative emotions growing up.
