An innovative method for choosing books to read

Mood & Emotion Books Character & Plot

Hello, fellow book junkies! I'm L.C. Estallene and I write what I want to read! I am a neurodivergent chick and I want to reach other ADHD and spectrum peeps with a writing style that I am still working to tailor toward people like myself! I love character-driven, fast-paced writing. My chapters are atypically short because... WELL... so is my attention span! I love a vast swathe of different genres! My first novella; "Sundown" is a quick 18+ spicy romance with lots of themes and a sequel in the works! At home, I like to curl up with a cat and a book. I love my two geriatric horses more than anything in the world. Lots of authors want their name and face on book covers but I REALLY don't... (hello social anxiety!) I am a deeply private, boring homebody to my core and am going to attempt anonymity. That said; you may never see my face BUT... I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! I love feedback!

Lovely to meet you!

'MY  WESTERN  SKY'

Suzanne Kozikowski grew up in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts. This novel is her debut work. After raising her three inspiring daughters, she enjoyed a career in nursing and photography while still writing in her spare time. She met her husband, Frank, serendipitously in 2008. They currently live together in the Berkshires. Together they have a total of six children and six grandchildren. Suzanne always enjoyed writing since childhood. Then in college, she took several writing courses. Many of her college papers were referenced and used as examples, by her professors, to help teach other aspiring young writers. My Western Sky was inspired by Suzanne’s middle daughter, Brooke, who invented the title in 2015, and she even named a few of this story’s characters. Brooke wanted to write this story, which reflects many of her actual life experiences and tribulations. However, Brooke tragically passed away from a rare auto-immune disease at the age of twenty-four, in 2015, before she could begin her book. Suzanne promised her daughter that she would write a captivating story incorporating some of the actual events of her daughter’s life mixed with fictitious action and adventure. This novel’s cover is an actual photograph of Brooke when she was eight years old.

Mark S. Ehrlich is the author of Float the Boat, a compelling, high-stakes Mystery-Thriller that blends a page from his past with events ripped from today's headlines. His debut novel and the first of a series, Float the Boat begins as a riveting whodunit and morphs into a frenzy-inducing page-turner. He would love to be proved wrong but doubts anybody can sum it up more succinctly than an early reader who said, "I couldn't put it down . . . it's 3 a.m.!"

Mark grew up in New York City and northern New Jersey captivated by the Gemini and Apollo programs, baseball, and football. When he wasn't in school or away at college, he learned the meaning of hard work while mowing lawns, counseling campers, boxing magic tricks, and mixing plastisols. In his twenties, he survived the Peace Corps, then withstood a pressure cooker of a job in a remote Southeast Asian refugee camp before seeing a good deal of the world as a reward. Next came several decades of pursuing value during a corporate career in the shipbuilding, railroad, and automotive industries. The last act, a 24-year stretch with a well-known Japanese car company, included a 5-year stint in Japan.

Now he lives with his family in South Korea. When he's not taking Tango for a walk, he enjoys blogging and writing stories about everyday heroes trying to overcome the disruption to their lives.

Mark Bradford is an author of both fiction and nonfiction books, host of a top 5% global podcast, licensed UAV pilot, speaker, and full stack web developer. Father of two and martini aficionado (those two things might not be related).

His latest fiction is a novella called The Devil’s in the Details and the award-winning The Sword and the Sunflower epic duet.

“I see things from a perspective most do not and then I create, build, augment, fix, distill, and explain.”

William N. Walker is the author of five popular and strongly reviewed novels of inter-war Europe, all available at Amazon Books and on his website www.authorwilliamwalker.com.

He brings to his novels a lifetime of experience as a diplomat, government official and international businessman.

Mr. Walker was Ambassador and Chief Trade Negotiator for the United States in the Tokyo Round of Multilateral Trade negotiations conducted under the auspices of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) in Geneva. He lived in Geneva for more than two years as America’s senior diplomat and brings first-hand knowledge to telling the stories in his novels. While the GATT was hardly the League of Nations, international organizations now, as then, are unwieldly and susceptible to the kinds of infighting and manipulation that we witness in the books.

As a member of the Nixon Administration, Mr. Walker was also a close observer of the political intrigue that destroyed Nixon’s presidency. He was general counsel of two government agencies and was among the principal architects of the US government’s response to the Arab Oil Embargo. Later, he served as Director of the Presidential Personnel Office for President Ford.

After leaving government, he became a partner in a large Wall Street law firm, running a successful international law practice. Later, he established a company, which he continues to operate, devoted to international business that has included transactions in Europe, the former Soviet Union, Turkey, Central Asia and the Middle East. He describes himself as a recovering attorney.

Mr. Walker is a winner of the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Wesleyan University. He is the father of three grown children and lives with his wife on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
