Rishikesh Upadhyay was born, grew up and lives in Bhanjang Basti, Haflong (erstwhile Bhanjyang Basti), a small Nepalis’ hamlet, via Mahadev Tilla, at Haflong, the district headquarter of North Cachar Hills (now Dima Hasao), India.

 Dr. Upadhyay writes articles, children's, research article, nonfiction titles, book chapters, poems, etc. and has spent the past decade working and teaching in higher educational institutions.

Her goal is to get women actively involved in empowering young girls and other women. She helps women by empowering them in the areas they want and need. Felicha is a member of the Non-Fiction Authors Association where she plans to make a difference in her local chapter in Dallas, Texas. Not only does Felicha plan to be an active participant in that association, she also plans to be active in a number of associations and organizations directly related to women’s Issues and women’s empowerment. In the United States we have many more associations and organizations that directly support women than in any other country.

As a compassionate educator devoted to helping students achieve their goals, plus a dedicated leader for community service, Felicha Stanley has built a career that can be summoned [or summarized] in one phrase: “helping others”. When she is not helping women and children who are victims of domestic violence in the community, she’s donating her time to community organizations such as the Arthritis Foundation, The Family Place, and New Beginnings to name a few.
