JR Elrod has been trucking since the late nineties. After leaving the Army, he rode along with a buddy who hauled oversize loads and never really came back off the road. Over the years he has pulled everything from machinery to cooling towers, spending long seasons on RGN work before shifting into step deck freight that stays wide, tall, and heavy.

Now the President of BAR Transportation, JR spends his days guiding a small team of veteran drivers who take pride in doing the job right. Most of them have decades behind the wheel and treat one another like family.
