I am Johanna. I was born in the UK in the lovely sea-side town of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

We moved to South West France in 1999 just after getting married to start a new life away from the rat-race, stress and materialism of the South East of the UK.

We now live in the South of France which we adore.

I am recently retired and decided it was time to go back to my book which I completed in 2020, following a course in creative writing and to relaunch my book

I am an avid reader, mainly fiction, biographies, historical fiction and Asian historical fiction.

I love to travel and have visited many parts of the world, with my main love being Asia and China
