Dee M. Davis is a non-fiction author of the children's book series Mara Meets as well as Self-Paced Sustainability: Reducing Impact at Your Pace for older children and adults. 

Author, Consultant, Subject Matter Expert, and Educator are but a few of the arenas in which Dee brings her sustainability knowledge and expertise. Sustainability has been at the forefront of Dee’s life since the beginning and has blossomed throughout her life in unexpected ways over the years. She is passionate about reducing waste, and conserving resources, and living in concert with the natural world. Dee has earned numerous certifications as a leader in energy management, environmental design and construction, sustainable behavior, composting, and conservation. She shares her knowledge as an instructor, coach, author and consultant with people across the US and around the world, specializing in making even the most complicated topics simple.

Dee is also the author of the children’s book series, Mara Meets, releasing the first book in the series, Mara Meets Sandra’s Sweet Rolls, in 2024 with several more in the works. She is the owner of Davis Consulting Management Group and Yellowstone Professional Education. Dee has lived in various states across the US and currently resides in Colorado.
