Dr. M. Stanley Butler is an author, teacher, and leadership developer. His message and passion have taken him to Africa, Asia, Europe, and many cities throughout the United States, serving as a teacher, conference speaker, and workshop facilitator for national and international churches and faith-based organizations. He is also the founder of STEPS, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving community and faith-based nonprofits, and STEPS Institute for Management & Learning. With more than 15 years of consulting experience, he has worked extensively to aid faith-based non-profit organizations in areas specific to curricula and strategic planning, administrative compliance, fiscal management, and capacity-building. Dr. Butler resides in Washington, D.C.
