I have survived so many things - domestic violence, abduction, sexual assault, being the sibling in a family of child sexual assault, sex work, systemic racism - the list goes on. What I have learned is that there is always a way for me to find empowerment from my experience that lifts me and that I can share with others. That's the reason for this 1st book in my autobiographical series; I've got to be able to see the empowerment from the grief, hurt, and loss. And there's nothing more empowering for me than to see others soar from what I share. "This is for the Other Child" is just the beginning.
